Pittsburgh Josh & Gab Show knocks bullies off their feet

The Marcus L. Ruscitto Charitable Foundation hopes that a little empathy and small gestures of kindness and understanding can take a bit of the sting out of bullying.

To that end, the foundation enlisted the aid of the musical comedy duo, The Josh & Gab Show, who brought their catchy blend of anti-bullying songs, stories, and comedy sketches to more than 500 schools, camps and community groups throughout the Pittsburgh area. By Josh & Gab’s estimation, they’ve performed in front of 300,000 students and educators since 2012.

Josh & Gab’s “Know What’s Right, Do What’s Right” campaign against childhood bullying is part of a series of short Public Service Announcements commissioned by the Ruscitto Foundation. The spots run periodically on WQED and before the previews at local movie theaters.

To help spread the anti-bullying message even further, the Ruscitto Foundation is funding part of the cost of a live Josh & Gab Show performance for schools that can’t afford it.
